Before I departed on the most risky part of the Angels Landing trail...
After 2.5 miles, we are partially up the trail. Now, I am about to continue to the top of that peak on the left.
Made it to the top after a terrifying hike!

When you step into the Mesa Arch, the drop on the other side is steep and immediate.

Colin on the very top of Whale Rock - about 250 feet up from the ground (the whole thing isn't pictured here - just the rock on top of Whale Rock)
Newspaper Rock is carved with one of the largest known collections of petroglyphs. The earliest of which are 2,000 years old.
If you look closely, Colin is inside that rock.

We didn't see very many flowers, but I liked the few that we did see.
