About Me

These pictures pretty much say it all.  I love adventure and animals.  I have 2 dogs, Kilimanjaro (black labrador) and Indiana Bones (Australian shepherd - blue merle).  I'm from Cocoa, Florida, USA.  I've been working in Atlanta, Georgia, USA in the corporate world since 2012 when I graduated from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) with a masters degree in accounting (and a concentration in tax accounting... I know, exciting).

I was lucky enough to be able to travel extensively before and during college.  When I started my first full time job after graduation, I had been to 34 countries.  My father is a pilot, so as a dependent (under 24 years old to his airline), I got excellent travel benefits.  I also studied abroad in Italy and Tanzania and traveled around Europe / Africa while studying.  Fast forward to almost 5 years later, and I'd still been to 34 countries.  While I was working in the corporate world, I didn't go to a single new country.  (I went to France once during this time - and got engaged in Nice in June - but had already been to France.  I also traveled to a lot of new locations in the US on weekend trips, but we're talking international travel here!)

Something had to change.  When I met Colin, we both wanted to do a HUGE trip someday.  We didn't plan anything out specifically until much later, but now we are actually doing it!
