Reusable Menstrual Products... Yes, they exist.

Let me start with explaining what I mean by reusable menstrual products (which I’ll simply call reusables).  No, you do not use tampons more than once (ew).  There are different types of reusables that you can use with your disposable tampons and pads (which I’ll simply call disposables) or you can use to replace them altogether.  There are 3 major categories of reusables: 1) menstrual cups that replace tampons; 2) cloth pads that replace disposable pads; and 3) period panties that you can use to replace everything or use together with other products.

House Cooling Party

3/29/2017

You guys... this is like, real life now.  I have one more full day of work, and then we drive off into the sunset happily ever after on Saturday.  On Friday night, we are having what we're referring to as our "House Cooling" party.  You know how some people have a "House Warming" party and people bring them gifts?  We're doing the opposite -- at the door, we'll have about 50 reusable bags (and 50 of our marriage celebration koozies... can't have a good party without customized koozies, right?!).  You take a bag & a koozie, and then you walk through the condo and fill the bag with anything you want to take home with you.

We've sold all our furniture, our bikes, my car, and we've taken everything we're keeping to my dad's house.  Everything left will be donated anyway, so we're letting our friends have first dibs.  Clothes, jewelry, makeup, kitchen stuff, etc.... it's all up for grabs!  I'll let you know how it goes over, but hopefully it's fun (and hopefully we get rid of everything so we don't have to take 12 trips to donate everything on Saturday morning)!

We're about 6 weeks out now, and things are starting to get real.  We've planned out our road trip (or at least what cities we'll stop in), and we've drawn a very rough draft plan of our world trip.
