There's something so majestic about snow-capped mountains. It's probably just because I'm from Florida, so I think we're going to have to spend the next part of our life in the west. Otherwise, I'm going to have to keep taking pictures every time I see a mountain... While the Tetons are beautiful, I urge you not to go while there is still so much snow on the ground. We wanted to do some hiking (okay, I wanted to see some bears in the wild which required us to try to find them by hiking... we unfortunately did not see any in the Tetons though because Colin is a big meany and kept clapping his hands to scare them away). Anyway... we wanted to do some hiking, and the only way to do that was through the snow. And mind you, we do not have special snow-hiking equipment. We were walking through the snow for hours and it was anywhere from ankle deep to thigh deep depending on how far we fell through the top. And we didn't see any animals during the hike (although we saw 2 moose beforehand and lots of elk!). AND you couldn't see the trail because everything was covered in snow, so we kept getting lost. You should visit, but go in the summer or go to do things specifically for the snow. See our USA photos here.

I'm the same way about mountains, when we go to places that have mountains.
